Hello! My name is Nikki. I live in a small town called Mudgee and I am currently in Year 11 at school.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a so called 'talent' when working with computers and cameras. When I was around 10 - 11 years old I started mucking around with the webcam on my dad's computer and found that he had a free video editor so I started creating silly videos with my friends. Ever since then, it has been hard to find me not being within a few metres away from my computer.

At this moment of time, I still have such a passion for video creating, photography, also digital design. There isn't a day that I am not working on something, whether it's for me personally, my school or the community. With being 'known' for my skills around town this has encouraged many amazing opportunities for me to gain experience.

Whilst starting to prepare myself for the HSC. I own my own small business called "Niks Pics" which have given me exposure to working as a photo/videographer. From parties to weddings, family photos and dance concerts, my little business has allowed me to experience the new skills and challenges of being in this industry.

As well as doing all of these incredible things over the years, I created a YouTube channel when I was in Year 7. Since making the channel, I have become extremely more confident with myself and it also allows me to show some of my work to my friends and family!

Over the past few years I have been continuously working hard for my dream of working in the media business one day. Once I have finished school, I am hoping to attend university for a communication degree and then decide which area I would like to major in after that.
